Blink Parametric Launches New App-Based Travel Assistance Bundle in Partnership With Gigasure

Blink Parametric announces its partnership with Gigasure, enabling travellers to access Blink Parametric’s travel assistance products through an app for the first time, simplifying access to real-time benefits. Gigasure policies are underwritten by SiriusPoint (NYSE: SPNT), with claims and assistance services being provided by IMG, a global insurance and assistance services company and subsidiary of SiriusPoint.

Gigasure is a newly launched travel insurance provider that puts customers at the heart of insurance, offering travellers the ability to fully customise their policy based on specific needs and budget requirements. Through its cutting-edge app, policyholders can access the GigaShield Flight and Luggage Delay benefits powered by Blink Parametric, which offers real-time flight and baggage delay support.

Through the Gigasure app, the Flight Delay benefit automatically activates when a policyholder’s registered flight is delayed by 3 hours or more, offering a choice between access to one of over 1,300 executive airport lounges worldwide or a real-time cash payout. The Blink Lost Luggage solution provides a one-time payment directly to the insured traveller once a luggage delay is confirmed, covering any necessary expenses while the luggage is being located.

Both Blink Parametric benefits are data-led and automated through the Gigasure app to deliver an enhanced customer experience, offering real-time assistance options to help alleviate the stress and inconvenience caused by delays.
