BBH Selected by Compañia de Seguros Confuturo SA for Global Custody Services
Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH), a leading asset servicing provider for financial institutions and asset managers, today announced that it has been appointed to provide custody and fund order services for Compañia de Seguros Confuturo SA, a leading Chilean insurance company with $2bn in assets abroad.
“We are delighted to be supporting Confuturo and their long-term business goals,” said Daniel Montoya, Managing Director and Head of Relationship Management for Latin America. “Rapid growth, evolving regulations, and increasing product complexity in Latin America are driving the need for dynamic custody and fund solutions. BBH’s custody offerings, bilingual global service model, and deep expertise in the region enable us to customize solutions that protect our clients’ investments and support growth.”
“We are proud to be appointed by Confuturo and to continue our longstanding relationship. This appointment is testament to BBH’s ongoing engagement and commitment to supporting Confuturo’s aspirations for growth,” said Maylin Adames, Vice President and Relationship Manager for Latin American clients at BBH.
“Confuturo’s investments abroad have increased significantly, as has the diversity of instruments, counterparties, and transaction frequency. Therefore, we need a partner that can facilitate our operations through simple yet robust processes and the delivery of timely information. We trust that BBH will provide us with the service that will allow us to continue growing and diversifying our investments,” said Alvaro Reyes, Chief Risk Officer for Confuturo.
Today’s announcement demonstrates the depth of BBH’s trusted relationships in Latin America, where the firm has supported pension funds, banks, insurance companies, asset managers, and third-party fund distributors in Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru for almost 30 years.
