hubb Hits Key Milestone with its 1,000th Customer Sign-up

Disruptive insurance broker hubb has recently celebrated the acquisition of its 1,000th customer, instilling further confidence in its transformative, AI-driven model.

Headquartered in both London and Glasgow, hubb was formed in 2021 by CEO Mark Costello, CRO John Costello, and COO Ed Halsey. Since then, it has grown significantly, and now employs 21 full-time members of staff across a broad range of roles, from technical, data science, and software development, to sales, marketing, and account management.

The tech-enabled broker, which specialises in targeting businesses paving over £10,000, uses tech to reduce the cost of selling insurances and then passes these savings onto customers. Further to this, the firm has adopted AI to reduce human bias and agenda, automation to reduce manual administration, and data science to streamline the information gathering process.

Mark Costello, CEO of hubb, said: “Reaching our 1000thcustomer is an important milestone, and we are delighted to have achieved this in just 14 months of trading. This accomplishment reflects the hard work that has gone into building our platform, as well as our commitment to offering clients cheaper, transparent, and more accurate cover through the use of technology. It is encouraging to know that our focus on empowering customers and delivering a service where businesses only pay for the services they use is resonating well with clients.”
