Veda Appoints SEC and Anchorage Digital Veteran TuongVy Le as General Counsel
Veda, the leading vault infrastructure platform, announced today that TuongVy Le has joined the company as General Counsel to spearhead growth with regulatory clarity. Le brings more than 15 years of experience across financial regulation, crypto, and securities law, including senior roles in the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Anchorage Digital, and Bain Capital Crypto.
The announcement comes during a period of rapid growth for Veda, which now secures over $4 billion in assets. Over the past year, vaults have gone from a niche category to one of the most critical in finance, enabling not only DeFi protocols to launch yield products, but also providing institutions with a pathway to differentiated yield strategies. The BoringVault standard, pioneered by Veda, is the most used vault standard in DeFi. Unlike most other vault platforms, Veda’s infrastructure is extremely flexible and customizable, supporting multiple blockchains, assets, and strategies.
As institutional interest in on-chain products accelerates and more traditional fintechs, exchanges, and custodians explore vault-based offerings, Le’s appointment strengthens Veda’s ability to scale with regulatory clarity and long-term trust. The opportunity has never been greater. As stablecoins become a growing part of the financial system with the historic passage of the GENIUS Act, and treasury companies explore yield-bearing strategies to drive value to their investors, institutions will need a trusted and compliant infrastructure provider to meet their needs. Le’s appointment is a timely step toward meeting that demand. Her experience across public and private sectors positions her to guide Veda through a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape while helping the company build the legal and operational foundations required to support institutional adoption at scale.
Le most recently served as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Anchorage Digital, the first federally chartered crypto bank in the U.S. Before that, she led policy and regulatory efforts as Partner and Head of Regulatory & Policy at Bain Capital’s first crypto investment fund. Earlier in her career, she spent over five years at the SEC, serving in both the Division of Enforcement and the Office of Legislative & Intergovernmental Affairs, where she helped shape U.S. policy on digital assets and financial markets.
“Le has seen crypto regulation evolve from every angle – inside government, venture, and federally regulated institutions,” said Stephanie Vaughan, COO and Co-Founder of Veda. “As we partner with exchanges, custodians, and asset managers, her experience will be critical in helping us move fast without cutting corners.”
At Veda, Le will lead legal, compliance, and policy efforts, working closely with partners and regulators across jurisdictions as the company expands globally.
“There’s real momentum among institutions and fintechs moving into DeFi,” said Le. “Veda understands what it takes to support that shift – technically and legally. I’m here to help ensure the platform meets the expectations of serious, long-term players in the space. The benefits of DeFi should be made available to everyone in a way that is simple and secure.”
That shift is already underway. Veda is in conversations with a growing number of exchanges, asset managers, and fintech platforms exploring vault-based products designed for real users and evolving regulatory environments. With over $4 billion deposited by more than 100,000 users across protocols like EtherFi, Lombard, Plasma, and Mantle, Veda is quickly becoming the vault infrastructure platform institutions are looking to build on.
With the Veda TuongVy Le appointment, the business acquires a strategic legal leader to direct international growth and guarantee regulatory trust in DeFi innovation.
