SMBC Americas Hires Donna Hart as Chief Information Security Officer
SMBC today announced that Donna Hart has joined the bank as Americas Division Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) as the global firm continues to strengthen its Americas platform.
A managing director based in Charlotte, Donna will partner closely with her global counterparts to lead Americas information security, bringing more than three decades of experience across information security, technology infrastructure, and cyber risk management.
Donna most recently served as CISO for Ally Financial, where she designed and implemented a comprehensive enterprise information security and technology risk management program. Prior to Ally, she spent more than two decades at Wells Fargo and Wachovia in progressively senior leadership roles.
“Donna’s proven leadership in cybersecurity and risk management make her an outstanding addition to SMBC,” SMBC Americas Chief Operating Officer Greg Keeley said. “Her ability to build resilient security programs and lead in complex risk environments will contribute to SMBC Americas’ continued growth.”
