Smartstream Strengthens Executive Leadership Team with Key Appointments

Smartstream, the trusted data solutions provider for leading global financial institutions and enterprises, is pleased to announce the appointment of two seasoned executives to its leadership team, reinforcing its commitment to innovation, growth, customer-centricity, and a people-first culture.

Jane Christopher, Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), is a highly experienced HR professional who will lead the company’s HR function, focusing on employee engagement, leadership development, and scaling a high-performance culture. Jane has an impressive track record, having held multiple leadership roles at Citrix, including Sr Director of HR Business Partnering for EMEA and APJ. Earlier in her career, she drove strategic HR initiatives at Panduit Europe Ltd and Fiserv, delivering consultancy and support across diverse EMEA markets.

Thomas Steinborn, Chief Product Officer (CPO), will lead product strategy, roadmap execution, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver market-leading solutions. With over two decades of experience building and scaling products globally, he has held senior positions such as SVP of Products at DataOps.live and Chief Product Officer at Infoniqa in the DACH region. Prior to that, he was VP of Products at Talend, a leading provider of data integration, integrity, and governance solutions.

Both executives will join the executive leadership team, reporting directly to Akber Jaffer, CEO, Smartstream, who states: “These appointments mark a significant milestone in our journey. Each of these leaders brings exceptional expertise and vision to their roles, and together they will help accelerate our mission to unlock trusted and intelligent data insights for our customers. Combined with the recent appointment of James Hollands as CRO, these hires further strengthen our leadership team and strategic direction.
