Accountancy SaaS Platform Silverfin Appoints Allison Searle as UK & Ireland General Manager

Silverfin, the cloud-first accountancy SaaS platform, today announced it has appointed Allison Searle as its new UK & Ireland General Manager. She succeeds Cameron Ford, who moves into the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer, a role that will see him lead global operations and support the company’s ambitious international expansion. This move reinforces Silverfin UK leadership during a pivotal period of regional expansion.

With a foundation in accountancy and a proven track record of driving revenue-led growth across international markets, Allison Searle brings a powerful blend of commercial acumen and operational leadership to her new role. She joins Silverfin as General Manager for the UK & Ireland following senior roles at NedGraphics Software, where she was Vice President of Global Sales, and commercial leadership positions at SaaS companies including Planful and Alpega Group. Known for her collaborative, coaching-led approach, Allison has built and scaled high-performing sales teams across EMEA and North America, consistently translating strategy into strong, sustainable growth.

In her new role, she will focus on accelerating Silverfin’s UK expansion, deepening client partnerships, and scaling the business to meet rising demand for cloud-based accounting and advisory solutions. Her appointment marks a continued investment in Silverfin UK leadership, as the company aligns its services with market demands.

Commenting on her appointment, Allison said, “I’m delighted to join Silverfin at such a pivotal moment. Accountancy firms are under more pressure than ever to modernise, and technology is no longer a nice-to-have — it’s core to unlocking efficiency, growth, and strategic impact. Silverfin’s platform and reputation make it a natural partner for firms ready to evolve, and I’m excited to lead our growth in the UK and Ireland.”

Cameron added; “It’s been a privilege to lead our UK business, and I couldn’t be handing it over to a more capable successor. As Chief Operating Officer, I’ll be working closely with teams across our global business to scale operations and deliver long term value to our customers. With AI and automation reshaping the accountancy profession, this is a defining moment for the industry and Silverfin is right at the forefront.”

Silverfin CEO Lisa Miles-Heal said, “Our technology is helping customers position themselves for the future – reimagining compliance, unlocking capacity and creating new business models and value streams. Allison’s wealth of experience and proven abilities as a commercial leader will be invaluable in driving our UK strategy forward. And with Cameron taking the well-deserved step up into his new role, we’re strongly positioned to seize the opportunities ahead and help our clients succeed with their digital transformations.”

Allison’s appointment and Cameron’s promotion follow the recent hire of Stephanie Dechamps as Vice President of Marketing, reinforcing Silverfin’s investment in strategic leadership as it enters its next phase of growth. The appointments of Allison and Stephanie bring Silverfin to an important benchmark of 50% gender equity within its executive leadership team, underscoring its commitment to inclusive leadership. Silverfin’s evolving executive team ensures that Silverfin UK leadership remains agile and responsive to client needs across the region.
