RTX Fintech Hires Electronic Markets Innovator Charlie Collins to Spearhead European Launch
RTX Fintech & Research (“RTX Fintech”), a leading US electronic interdealer trading platform for interest rate swaps, today announced the hiring of Charlie Collins as Head of Markets, Europe.
Collins will work closely with CEO James Cawley and Christopher Jonns, RTX Fintech’s Global Head of Markets, to oversee the company’s strategy and business launch into the European interest rate swaps and derivatives markets.
Collins brings a proven track record in building and scaling buy-side solutions within global fixed income and derivatives markets. Collins made his mark in the industry during his tenure at Tradeweb from 2011 to 2024, where he headed Tradeweb’s European credit business and also led several cross-asset initiatives spanning product management, market structure and global expansion.
“I’m thrilled to join the RTX team which is on a mission of much-needed disruption of the swaps market,” said Collins. “RTX is leading the drive towards electronification of what is a traditionally voice-driven part of the market. They’ve made great strides to do so in the U.S. and I couldn’t be more excited to extend that innovation to Europe.”

RTX Fintech launched its Request for Trade electronic trading protocol for USD Swaps 20 months ago with the support of several bank liquidity providers. RTX Fintech has 18 dealers live in the U.S. and continues to add more swaps dealers globally.
