Redwood to Boost North-East Focus with Internal Promotion

Redwood Bank has bolstered its presence in the North-East with the appointment of a new regional development manager, reinforcing its commitment to a service-led approach that puts personal relationships at the heart of business lending.

Jane Hand has taken on the role, bringing with her almost four decades of banking experience, including time spent as a branch manager, business development officer and most recently as a relationship manager supporting Redwood’s top 50 customers.

Having spent several years within Redwood’s business development and relationship management teams, Jane brings valuable insight into the Bank’s internal workings and collaborative culture.

Known for her people-first ethos, Jane’s appointment underlines Redwood’s continued focus on providing responsive, personalised support for brokers and customers alike.

She said: “I’ve always believed that people buy from people. Rates matter, of course, but what sets Redwood apart is the personal touch, being accessible, responsive and tenacious when it comes to supporting our brokers and customers.”

Jane’s new remit will see her working across the North-East region, offering tailored financial solutions while upholding Redwood’s reputation for excellent service.

“I want our brokers to feel confident that they can pick up the phone and get things moving. My goal is to be that dependable contact they know will get things done.

“This opportunity plays to my strengths. I enjoy working with people, finding solutions and helping brokers navigate complex deals – especially when a bespoke approach is needed.”

Andre Parcian, head of business development (Midlands, Wales and North East), said: “Jane’s promotion is a testament to the talent we’ve nurtured within Redwood. Her deep understanding of our customers, dedication to personal service and her ability to build strong relationships make her ideally suited to lead our presence in the North-East. I have every confidence she’ll make a real difference for the brokers and businesses we support in the region.”
