Komainu Appoints Jonathan Patterson as Chief Operating Officer, EMEA

Komainu, a regulated digital asset services provider and custodian, backed by Laser Digital and Blockstream, announces the appointment of Jonathan Patterson as Chief Operating Officer, EMEA. The appointment comes as Komainu continues its international expansion.

In his new role, Patterson will be responsible for the operational management of Komainu’s businesses across EMEA, working closely with departmental heads and team leads to ensure the smooth running of the organisation’s processes and supporting the firm’s expansion into new markets. 

Patterson joins Komainu with over 20 years’ experience in operations, risk, and business management within the financial services sector. Prior to joining Komainu, he was Chief Operating Officer at Nickel Digital Asset Management, where he oversaw operations through a period of significant growth in institutional digital asset investment. His experience spans both traditional finance and digital assets, providing a strong foundation for Komainu’s next phase of growth.
