Insignis Cash Announces Senior Leadership Changes

Insignis Cash, the award-winning cash management platform, is delighted to announce the promotion of Giles Hutson to Executive Chairman and Kate Toumazi to Chief Executive Officer.

Giles co-founded Insignis Cash in 2017 with Paul Richards. Over the past eight years, they have built one of London’s biggest fintech success stories. The firm has managed over £22bn in assets and grown its assets under administration (AUA) by 50% in the last 12 months.

As Executive Chairman, Hutson will steer partnership development with key advisory firms and technology partners while continuing to drive the expansion of Insignis’ network throughout 2025.

Toumazi joined Insignis at the start of 2024 as its Chief Operating Officer to enhance company operations, customer service excellence and drive sustainable growth. As CEO, her strong data and technology background will supercharge Insignis’ proprietary tech strategy and accelerate its next phase of growth.

Kate Toumazi said: “After a year of unprecedented growth, 2025 is set to take Insignis’ success to new heights. I’m thrilled to be taking the reins at such an important time for the business as we gear up for more product innovation, more operational efficiency and lay the groundwork for our first ever advertising campaign, designed to show the UK the power of cash as an asset class.”

Giles Hutson commented: “As our new CEO, Kate is ideally placed to lead Insignis’ exciting new chapter as we double down on our mission to empower individuals, organisations and businesses to grow and protect their cash. As the only cash management platform built specifically for financial advisers, businesses and charities, we remain focused on what matters most: working with our partners and members to get our clients the best possible outcomes.”

Co-founder Paul Richards will continue to play an active part in the business, maintaining his board seat and continuing to work closely with the regulators and Insignis Cash’s key banking partners.
