ING Appoints David Leech as Global Head of FX Trading
ING is pleased to announce the appointment of David Leech as Global Head of FX Trading, effective immediately.
David succeeds Gary Prince and will oversee all ING’s FX trading activities worldwide.
David joined ING in 2016 as a Senior FX Forwards Trader and was promoted to Head of FX UK in 2023.
With two decades of markets experience, he brings deep expertise and a proven track record in driving revenue growth.
David Leech, Global Head of FX Trading, said:
“I’m delighted to take on this global role and build on the strong foundations we’ve established.
My focus will be on driving growth, deepening client relationships, and fostering collaboration across all regions to deliver best-in-class FX solutions.”
Under his leadership, the London FX desk delivered strong financial performance and enhanced collaboration across regions.
In his new role, David will report hierarchically to Gary Prince, Head of WB FM EMEA, and functionally to Niall Carton, Global Head of FM Trading.
