Finova Appoints Daniel Broadhurst as Commercial Director to Drive Growth
Finova, the UK’s leading cloud-based lending and savings software provider, has appointed Daniel Broadhurst as its new Commercial Director. Daniel will be responsible for driving Finova’s commercial strategy, strengthening client partnerships, supporting the company’s continued growth and helping to modernise lending processes and technology architecture across the UK market.
With over 20 years’ experience in the banking and financial services ecosystem, Daniel brings a unique blend of expertise from both traditional banking and fintech. He spent more than a decade in senior roles at leading banks, developing deep knowledge of loan operations and lending services, before moving into technology.
Most recently at nCino, Daniel helped a wide spectrum of clients – from start-up neobanks to established high street lenders – navigate complex technology change programmes and deliver improved customer outcomes.
At Finova, Daniel will build on the company’s strong market position – which today powers nearly £50 billion in loans and savings – and help customers tackle an array of industry-wide changes, including advances in AI and shifting customer expectations.
His dual perspective, rooted in traditional banking and shaped by fintech, equips him to help lenders transform without losing sight of operational realities.
Daniel Broadhurst, Commercial Director at Finova, commented:
“The lending market is continuing to evolve at pace, and right now, rapid changes are arriving all the time. Lenders are contending with new operational challenges on a daily basis, and I could not imagine a more exciting time to join a company like Finova. The company has built a huge market presence in the UK thanks to its diverse product offering and deep talent pool. I’m excited to contribute to the next chapter of growth and to deliver solutions that create lasting value for our clients and the wider market.”
Gareth Richardson, CEO of Finova, said:
“Daniel brings a winning combination of deep banking expertise and first-hand experience of delivering tangible results for financial institutions. His appointment strengthens our leadership team as we continue to scale and underlines our commitment to investing in top talent to support our clients. I look forward to working with Daniel as we accelerate Finova’s growth and ensure we remain the partner of choice for lenders and brokers across the UK.”
