Ethan Silver Joins InvestiFi as Strategic Advisor, Accelerating Innovation and Regulatory Strategy
InvestiFi, the embedded digital investing platform designed to integrate seamlessly into financial institutions’ digital banking environments, has announced the appointment of Ethan Silver as a strategic advisor. One of the nation’s foremost legal experts for fintechs with embedded securities and crypto investing, Silver will advise the leadership team on regulatory compliance, product development, and scalable go-to-market strategies.
Silver is Chair of the FinTech and Broker-Dealer Practices and Co-Chair of the Crypto Practice at law firm Lowenstein Sandler LLP. He advises broker-dealers, robo-advisers, and crypto-native firms on structuring operations and compliance, launching new products, and navigating regulatory oversight. His work with other fintechs has included launching the first app-based broker-dealer platforms, securing SEC approvals for unique businesses, and introducing novel investment workflows and innovative solutions for companies offering multi-asset products..
“Ethan joining us as an advisor is more than a vote of confidence, it’s a strategic advantage,” said Kian Sarreshteh, CEO and Co-Founder of InvestiFi.
“His insight into how regulation shapes innovation allows us to move quickly without compromising on compliance. That’s critical as we scale across financial institutions that will continue to demand both agility and regulatory rigor.”
Regarding his appointment, Silver stated: “Having worked with InvestiFi to develop their innovative Investing from Checking funds flow throughout 2024, I’ve seen the impact it has provided to the credit unions and banks they partner with. It sets them apart from other digital investing companies.”
Silver’s deep expertise will be instrumental as InvestiFi continues to develop and refine its most innovative and groundbreaking feature: Investing from Checking, a seamless, embedded investing experience that enables account holders to invest directly from their checking accounts.
Silver continues: “Unlike legacy platforms that silo investments behind separate apps and complex onboarding, Investing from Checking allows users to allocate funds in real time from their primary accounts – reducing friction, increasing engagement, and lowering the barrier for first-time investors; All the while keeping the idle cash waiting to be invested on the balance sheet of the financial institution. It’s a real game changer.”
Silver concluded: “Bringing my expertise in securities, crypto and fintech regulation and legal strategy, I look forward to supporting the team as they continue to innovate and expand their product and impact within the financial services industry.”
With multiple institutions already implemented on and using the platform, plus a robust pipeline, InvestiFi is poised to become the market leader for embedded digital investing. Silver’s appointment further solidifies InvestiFi’s credibility and commitment to delivering innovative and compliant investing solutions to credit unions and community banks across the country.
