Delta Capita Appoints Simon O’Malley as Group Chief Finance & Operating Officer
Delta Capita, a global leader in financial technology, managed services and consulting, is pleased to announce the appointment of Simon O’Malley as Group Chief Finance & Operating Officer.
Based in London, O’Malley will report directly to Joe Channer, Delta Capita’s CEO. In this newly expanded role, O’Malley will lead both the finance and operations functions playing a pivotal role in driving the enterprise value creation, institutional scalability and operational excellence across Delta Capita’s global business lines. He will play a key role in driving financial resilience, optimising capital efficiency, supporting business growth through acquisitions, transformation initiatives, and balance sheet management. His appointment reflects the firm’s continued focus on sustainable growth, disciplined financial execution and readiness for future state milestones.

O’Malley brings over 25 years of experience in financial services, consulting, and large-scale transformation, with a strong track record of implementing strategic financial initiatives and leading high-performing teams. His expertise spans finance and COO transformation, global finance operations, risk management, and supporting business expansion and operational excellence. He has worked extensively across wholesale banking and fintech, applying a growth-oriented approach to transformation and long-term value creation.
Prior to joining Delta Capita, O’Malley was CFO and board member at Saxo Capital Markets UK (part of Saxo Bank). He previously held senior finance, COO and transformation roles at HSBC, Barclays, NatWest and ABN AMRO.
