Charles Taylor Appoints Gordon Tennant as Regional Director of Marine Technical Services in Asia

Charles Taylor, a global leader in loss adjusting, has appointed Gordon Tennant as Regional Director, Marine Technical Services (Asia), marking a strategic expansion of its marine capabilities across the region. Gordon will be based in Singapore and will report to Phil Osmotherley, Global Managing Director, Marine Technical Services.

Gordon joins with over four decades of experience in the maritime industry, having served as a First Class Marine Engineer across a range of vessel types as well as holding senior technical roles including Engineering Superintendent and new build inspector. His tenure with Braemar (ABL) spanned both Singapore and London and he has spent the last few years independently consulting on casualty investigations and technical surveys for Hull & Machinery underwriters, P&I Clubs, shipowners and other stakeholders.

In Asia Pacific, the Charles Taylor Marine Technical Services (MTS) team is located in Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, and China providing clients across the region with a full suite of services, reducing the need for multiple providers on complex, cross-border marine projects.

Phil Osmotherley, Global Managing Director, Marine Technical Services, Charles Taylor says: “We are delighted to welcome Gordon to our leadership team in Asia. His technical depth and experience in both operational and consulting roles make him uniquely positioned to ensure that our regional team continues to deliver trusted insights to our clients amid an increasingly complex marine landscape.”
