Acquis Appoints Alexander Nielsen as Country Manager for Germany, Austria and Switzerland

Leading asset finance insurance provider, Acquis, is strengthening its European presence with the appointment of Alexander Nielsen as Country Manager for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Acquis has recruited experienced leasing professional Alexander Nielsen to drive business growth across the region. Based in the German-speaking markets, he will report to Martin Lehnert, European Sales Director at Acquis’ European headquarters in Amsterdam.

Nielsen joins Acquis with over 25 years’ industry experience, having worked in and alongside the leasing sector since 1999. Most recently, he served as Senior Sales Manager at Creditreform in Neuss, where he managed key relationships with leasing companies and represented the organisation at the German Federal Association of Leasing Companies (BDL: Bundesverband Deutscher Leasing-Unternehmen e. V.).

Prior to this, Neilsen also established international subsidiaries and served as Managing Director for leasing operations in the Baltics, Hungary and Romania.

Commenting on his appointment, he said: “I’m thrilled to be joining the Acquis team.  Its tailored insurance solutions for leasing, combining equipment insurance, outsourced administration and claims management, help reduce risk and administrative complexity, while creating new revenue opportunities for leasing providers. This is a particularly attractive proposition for mid-market players across the region, where portfolios tend to be diverse and highly granular.”

Martin Lehnert, European Sales Director at Acquis, added: “Alexander brings a deep understanding of the leasing industry from both a management and risk management perspective. His expertise will ensure that our clients continue to receive strategic, value-driven support aimed at sustainable business growth.”
