Globe and bolttech Launch Device Upgrade Programme in the Philippines

Global insurtech bolttech, has partnered with Globe, the Philippines’ mobile leader, to launch Flagship Forever, a new device upgrade programme and the first for a telco in the Philippines. The offering is designed to give Globe customers freedom, accessibility, and affordability when it comes to owning the latest flagship smartphones.

Launching this August in Globe stores nationwide and via relationship managers for Platinum subscribers, Flagship Forever will enhance and simplify the digital lifestyle of Filipinos. This follows bolttech and Globe’s earlier collaboration on Gadget Xchange, a mobile device programme designed to make postpaid device switching more convenient.

With Flagship Forever, customers can upgrade to the newest models every year, without the burden of pretermination fees for every upgrade. Globe customers can easily upgrade to the latest flagship devices every year by simply trading in their current unit without paying pretermination fees. Re-contracting customers who enroll in the programme can also enjoy:

  • Hassle-free annual upgrades to the latest flagship models, including Samsung Z and S Series and the upcoming iPhone 17.
  • Early upgrade eligibility as early as the 12th month of an existing plan, with no need to complete a 24-month contract.
  • Worry-free device protection, covering screen repairs, replacements, and device switching.
  • Flexible plan options, with one month free for select plans and affordable add-on fees for Plans 2499 and 3799.

Mark Gil Pasaylo, Globe Head of Platinum said, “Our partnership with bolttech allows us to make premium phones very accessible and reachable, a reflection of our commitment to provide curated experiences and customer-centric solutions that truly meet our customers’ needs.”

Alexander Sarmiento, General Manager, Philippines, bolttech said, “We are thrilled to expand our ongoing collaboration with Globe to bring Flagship Forever to customers in the Philippines.
