Viamericas and Banco G&T Announce 20th Viamistad Donation Campaign for 2025-2026 Period

Viamericas, a leading provider of remittance and international money transfer services, has announced its 20th annual fundraising campaign in support of its charitable organization, Viamistad. The campaign is a joint effort with partner Grupo Financiero G&T Continental (Banco G&T Continental), the third largest financial organization in Guatemala.

The yearly donation campaign raises money for Guatemalans with disabilities to attend Viamistad’s educational and recreational camps. Between October 2025 and March 2026, Viamericas and Banco G&T will donate a portion of every Viamericas transaction paid out by Banco G&T.

“We are proud to continue working with Viamericas and Viamistad to make a difference for individuals with disabilities in our community,” said Oswaldo Sánchez, Director of Remittance Business at Banco G&T Continental. “There is a significant need for programs like these and we look forward to watching Viamistad continue making a difference in the lives of Guatemalans.”

Now in its 20th year, Viamistad hosts summer camps, an inclusive school, and entrepreneurship programs designed to give Guatemalans with disabilities access to life-changing opportunities. Each year, nearly 90 campers, alongside local volunteers, get the opportunity to form lasting friendships and develop skills that will carry them forward in life. Viamistad helps attendees challenge societal barriers, diminish the stigma around disabilities, and promote greater understanding and inclusion within their communities.

“It is humbling to see the Viamistad mission continue to come to life and grow year after year. This campaign is a reminder each year that we are a community and we can always achieve more when we work together,” said Joseph Argilagos, Executive Chairman and Co-Founder of Viamericas and President of Viamistad. “We are so grateful for Banco G&T’s support and look forward to how we can continue creating fun, empowering and inclusive experiences for our campers in Guatemala.”
