Wealthify Appoints Jessie Kwok as Chief Investment Officer

Leading investment and savings service Wealthify today announces the appointment of Jessie Kwok as its Chief Investment Officer (CIO), succeeding Colleen McHugh.

Jessie Kwok joins Wealthify from Investec, where she was Senior Investment Director for over three years. Her notable achievements also include roles as Investment Lead at Fidelity International, where she launched a digital advice and discretionary portfolio solution, as well as Portfolio Manager positions at London & Capital, Schroders and HSBC. Kwok is a CFA Institute Charterholder with certificates in Sustainable Finance and ESG Investing.

Colleen McHugh, the outgoing CIO, will continue to contribute to Wealthify as part of its Investment Committee and serving as an investment consultant. This transition will allow McHugh to pursue additional interests while still providing valuable insights to the company.

Newly appointed CIO Jessie Kwok comments: “I’m delighted to join Wealthify at such an exciting time for the business. I am impressed by Wealthify’s success in bringing investments and savings to the mass market and I am humbled to be given the responsibility of protecting our customers’ financial futures. I look forward to hitting the ground running and continuing Wealthify’s great investment performance in the years to come.”

Colleen McHugh, reflecting on her tenure, adds: “I have greatly enjoyed my time as CIO at Wealthify – I’ve witnessed the company’s rapid growth and consistent investment performance. Jessie’s appointment comes at a time of prolonged uncertainty in financial markets. I am confident that she will effectively navigate the challenges and opportunities ahead and ensure the continued success of the team.”
