Trust Payments Reinforces Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Fintech Sector

Trust Payments, a leading provider of payments and e-commerce solutions, is taking bold steps to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) within the fintech industry. The company’s recent strategic initiatives underscore its unwavering commitment to creating a more diverse and inclusive sector.

Partnering with the 30% Club for Gender Diversity

Trust Payments has partnered with the 30% Club, a globally recognised campaign with a mission to achieve gender diversity at the board and executive committee levels. Founded in the UK in 2010, the 30% Club has gained substantial support from over 1,000 board chairs and CEOs worldwide. This alliance represents a shared commitment to promoting gender diversity and achieving gender parity in leadership positions.

The 30% Club advocates for a critical mass of at least 30% female representation in leadership roles, recognising that this threshold is essential for amplifying minority voices and ensuring equitable opportunities in the financial technology sector. Trust Payments’ collaboration with the 30% Club reflects its dedication to empowering women and underrepresented groups in fintech.

Nurturing Female Talent through Power Hack Event

Trust Payments is furthering its commitment to gender equity and diversity by sponsoring the Power Hack event, organised by SheCanCode. This groundbreaking initiative provides a supportive platform for nurturing female talent in the technology industry and addressing their unique challenges. The event encourages women to develop innovative solutions that tackle industry-specific obstacles.

To demonstrate its active involvement in driving DE&I, Trust Payments team members Krishan Sharma and Jankee Khambhaita will serve as mentors during the Power Hack event. Their participation exemplifies the company’s proactive approach to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in the tech sector.

Trust Payments recognises that DE&I initiatives are not only about fulfilling quotas but also about creating an inclusive environment where diverse perspectives drive innovation and success. The company remains dedicated to setting an industry-leading standard.

CEO Daniel Holden: “Our partnership with the 30% Club and sponsorship of the Power Hack event are concrete steps towards realising our vision of a more diverse and inclusive fintech industry. We believe that diversity fosters creativity and drives progress, and we are proud to play our part in this vital transformation.”
