Lendable Launches Zable Mobile: The UK’s First Mobile Plan by a Fintech

Zable, the consumer finance superapp, today launches a high-speed, unlimited 5G data plan for £20 per month with no long-term contracts. The new mobile service is powered by Gigs, the operating system for mobile services. Available exclusively to Zable’s two million customers, the plan helps people save on mobile bills while enjoying premium connectivity, all managed seamlessly within the Zable app.

Zable is the consumer app from Lendable, the AI credit platform making borrowing faster, cheaper, and more transparent. Founded in 2014 by Martin Kissinger, Victoria van Lennep, and Jakob Schwarz, Lendable is today the UK’s largest non-bank lender for personal loans and one of the country’s largest issuers of credit cards.

Zable Mobile offers the same simplicity and flexibility that have made Zable’s borrowing products popular: guaranteed pricing with no annual increases, no contract lock-in, and no paperwork or store visits. Customers can activate their plan instantly and securely via eSIM or with a physical SIM, while keeping their existing phone number or choosing a new one. The plan comes with 10GB of monthly international data roaming across 38 European countries and territories.

Martin Kissinger, CEO and co-founder of Lendable, says: “Telecoms today resembles borrowing before Zable, with clunky user journeys, poor support, and hidden price hikes all too commonplace. We created Zable Mobile to offer transparent, affordable pricing and unlimited data in one seamless experience. With Zable Mobile, what you see is what you get: great connectivity, instant activation, and effortless management in the Zable app. We’re proud to be rewriting the rules for mobile, just as we have for credit.”

Zable Mobile marks the beginning of a new chapter for connectivity in the UK. By bringing personal finance and mobile services together, Zable enables users to manage two essential services within a single app already trusted by millions across the country,” said Rafa Plantier, VP Go-to-Market at Gigs. “With lean digital distribution and near-zero acquisition costs, Zable Mobile can offer a premium plan at half the price of traditional operators, and we are proud to power it through Gigs’ operating system for mobile services.”
