Euromoney Names iCapital® as The World’s Best Technology Provider for Wealth Management

iCapital, the global fintech platform driving the world’s alternative investment marketplace for the wealth and asset management industries, has been awarded The World’s Best Technology Provider for Wealth Management, Asia’s Best Technology Provider for Wealth Management, and North America’s Best Technology Provider for Wealth Management at Euromoney’s Private Banking Awards, the preeminent annual awards program of the worldwide private banking and wealth management industry.

The Euromoney Private Banking Awards are one of the most recognized awards within the banking and finance industry. For over 20 years, the comprehensive awards program has recognised the best in private banking services globally and regionally. This is the first year it’s applauded technology providers that service their clients with the best possible solutions through technology innovation.

“Technology is essential to improving accessibility to private markets. iCapital have truly broken the barriers and made alternative investments available for the global wealth management industry,” says Andrei Charniauski, Euromoney’s Chief Research Officer & Head of Awards.

“We are extremely honored to receive this recognition and want to thank our entire team for their passion, dedication, and hard work as they collaborate across the globe to deliver for our wealth and asset management clients to whom we are very grateful for their trust and continuous support,” says Marco Bizzozero, Head of International at iCapital. “The Euromoney awards are a testament of the strength of iCapital’s value proposition as we bring tech-enabled accessibility, transparency and education in alternative investing to the wealth management industry and enable advisors and their clients to access high-quality investing opportunities previously out of their reach.”

Over the award period for the year 2024, iCapital has experienced substantial growth globally, not only in its investor network and new industry partnerships, but also in its acquisitions and global team expansion. Alongside organic growth, iCapital has made a series of acquisitions and product launches to expand its technical capabilities, broaden the menu of investment opportunities offered on its platform:

  • iCapital launched iCapital Marketplace in Europe, Canada, LatAm, Hong Kong and Singapore to connect wealth managers and advisors with a broad menu of alternative investment opportunities from leading Asset Managers across private equity, private debt, infrastructure, real assets and hedge funds.
  • iCapital announced its groundbreaking portfolio construction tool, Architect, available on iCapital Marketplace, which incorporates alternative and structured investments into traditional public market portfolios.
  • iCapital launched its first fund leveraging Distributed Ledger Technology, marking an important technological advancement for increasing scale and real-time connectivity across the alternative investments experience.
  • iCapital launched two Model Portfolios in 2024: the iCapital Balanced Model Portfolio which is the first Model Portfolio for alternative investments, enabling advisors to easily integrate alternative investments with traditional public market portfolios, and the Growth Model Portfolio which provides financial advisors an additional tool to help build out allocations to alternatives while taking a holistic approach to portfolio construction. This technology is also being used by both asset and wealth managers to create their own customized models. Completing the suite in 2025 will be the Income Model Portfolio which aims to generate enhanced income with downside protection, as well as iCapital’s first international Model Portfolio soon to launch in the Cayman Islands.
  • iCapital made two strategic acquisitions to enhance data management capabilities to streamline post-investment processes and improve decision-making for private markets participants: Mirador, a leading technology-enabled provider of investment data aggregation and financial reporting across both alternative and traditional investments, and AltExchange, a leading AI-driven technology firm transforming alternative investment data aggregation, management, and reporting for financial advisors and asset manager.

iCapital surpassed the $200 billion milestone in global platform assets in October 2024, reaching $220 billion at the end of February 2025, of which $33 billion are international platform assets, illustrating the global expansion of private market strategies, the impact of iCapital’s technology platform, and the strong partnerships it has built with leading global investment firms within the alternatives ecosystem.
