Centuro Global announce new AI partnership to speed up ‘work from anywhere’ requests
Centuro Global, the leading AI-powered SaaS platform that helps companies expand globally and compliantly all in one place, has announced it is developing a first of its kind international remote working and assignment compliance tool, in partnership with Global Tax Network (GTN).
With the rapid rise in workation requests and demand for remote working from employees, global mobility teams, heads of HR and talent management leads will now be able to assess, approve and begin processing ‘workation’ requests in a single one-stop shop.
Remote working anywhere in the world creates exciting career opportunities but also requires management of regulations and challenges to immigration, tax status and compensation. Combining Centuro Global’s immigration and legal services, alongside GTN’s extensive mobility tax knowledge, the revolutionary tool will provide a seamless self-serve experience, instantly customising reports depending on worker nationality, length of assignment or stay, job roles, salaries, and the desired location.
The all-encompassing platform will remove the complications and associated administrative costs for businesses with staff working remotely and HR leaders will be able to generate an initial country-specific report and compliance plan instantly, informing employees of next steps in minutes, instead of waiting days for multiple external advisors to report and advise.
Global leaders such as Airbnb have already adopted ‘work from anywhere’ models to improve employee satisfaction, create a wider talent pool, and build a more diverse workforce. In addition, remote jobs attract 50% of applications on LinkedIn, despite only accounting for 20% of job advertisements1, while 56% of employees plan to, or have already taken a workation2.
However, whilst millions of employees are energised by the thought of location-agnostic work, global mobility teams and HR and legal departments have struggled with the additional costs and workload of assessing requests. Many have found themselves appointing multiple advisors at eye-watering hourly rates to review risks and process paperwork regarding tax, immigration, regulatory factors and legal status.
Centuro Global CEO, Zain Ali, said: “Any ambitious company serious about growth and recruiting top talent needs to be able to offer more flexible, location-agnostic employment. However, the current model of disjointed, siloed advisors working off an hourly rate to enable remote work is inadequate, and even deters businesses from becoming more attractive employers.
“With the launch of the new tool, Centuro Global and GTN are poised to have positioned themselves to serve the unique needs of large enterprise clients more easily. We have the flexibility and the business logic to manage thousands of different combinations of country-to-country travel within one tool, which is definitely a win-win for everyone.”
Zain added: “Not only are we cutting complexity, removing risk and costs, but also saving busy business people the most precious commodity of all — time.”
David Kolb, Founder & CEO of GTN, said: “Today most HR and global mobility teams struggle to justify denying or approving workation requests, and cannot understand the risk of an international assignment without spending precious time and money on outside consultants. Many companies also allow employees to work remotely for short periods of time but are unaware of the legal complexities of different jurisdictions, creating a major compliance risk.
“Now they have the prospect of a single, unified and instantaneous tool to help ensure compliance and certainty regarding risks on legal, tax and immigration, meaning they can facilitate the right decisions faster and at lower cost. I’m thrilled to be able to offer this cutting-edge technology to our clients and the wider marketplace.”
David added: “Despite the massive amounts of data involved, the beauty of the GTN and Centuro partnership is that it allows us to launch a tool that will have a game-changing impact in the world of global mobility.”
