Apex Group Commits to Vietnam Market With New Head Appointment and Office Launch
Apex Group Ltd. (“the Group”), the leading global financial services provider, announces a new country head of Vietnam, while launching a new country office – Apex Vietnam. Based in Ho Chi Minh City, Tyler McElhaney will lead a team of corporate and financial services professionals. This move underscores Apex Group’s long-term commitment to Vietnam- and more broadly the ASEAN region.
Licensed by the Department of Planning and Investment, Apex Vietnam will provide a full range of innovative financial services, products and solutions, including: market entry advisory, compliance and accounting, and ESG-related solutions. Apex Group has much experience within the market, having served Vitenamese corporate and private clients from offices globally. Growth has been driven by increased demand from existing and new clients for Apex Group’s single-source solution onshore in Vietnam.
Tyler McElhaney has over 20 years of international experience, having lived in the US, China, Singapore, Hong Kong, Qatar and Vietnam. Prior to joining Apex Group, McElhaney was CEO of a regulated asset management firm while also serving as General Partner of an $1bn USD impact-based investment fund focused on infrastructure in Africa and Southeast Asia.

ECB Taps G+D Partnership for Digital Euro Resilience
Advancing the preparation of a digital euro, the European Central Bank (ECB) has announced the conclusion of the framework agreements for each of the five digital euro negotiated procurement procedures (also see the notice view in the Official Journal of the EU). A cooperation between Giesecke+Devrient (G+D) partnering with Nexi and Capgemini has now been selected as the first ranked tenderer in the framework agreement to provide an end-to-end solution to make digital euro payments offline available to users and merchants across Europe. The ability to pay offline, with no third-party involvement, is a key feature of the digital euro, which would ensure privacy and resilience as only cash does today.
