VGX Foundation Appoints Matteo Dante Perruccio as Chairman
The VGX Foundation is pleased to announce that it has appointed Matteo Dante Perruccio, a highly experienced business executive whose career of over thirty-five years spans across financial services and digital assets, as its Chairman.
Matteo was previously CEO of Pioneer Investment Management SgR based in Europe, sat on the board of Jupiter Asset Management based in the UK and set up one of the first hedge fund pension partnerships with British Telecom. Since 2016 he has been an active investor and advisor in the digital ecosystem.
VGX Foundation has been set up to support the VGX token, a digital asset that is central to new Web 3.0 games and has already been integrated into multiple games, for example Gala Games. VGX is empowering games and gamers to earn and use their rewards across all games regardless of the platform. This has been enabled by games being built on new Web 3.0, open source blockchain technology, which is enriching the experience for both game developers and gamers.
Matteo’s business leadership will allow him to guide the VGX Foundation towards adoption of tokenization and digital assets within the gaming industry.
Matteo Dante Perruccio, Chairman of the VGX Foundation said: “The power of blockchain technology and digital assets are unquestionably transforming multiple industries.
