Bitso Appoints Aimee Fearon as Its New Chief Financial Officer

To continue strengthening its leadership team in key positions, the leading financial services company powered by crypto in Latin America, Bitso appoints Aimee Fearon as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Throughout her career, Fearon has accelerated company growth by driving value creation, raising capital and building strong teams and alliances with strategic investors. Aimee was most recently CFO of Wealthsimple, a financial services platform in Canada, and worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Newsela and OnDeck Capital, which went public during her tenure.

Commenting on the appointment, Bitso CEO and co-founder Daniel Vogel said: “I’m excited to collaborate with Aimee and the rest of the executive team. With more than 8 million customers in its Retail unit and 1,700 institutional clients transacting through Bitso Business, the company aims to accelerate its growth with Aimee’s leadership in this pivotal role.
