cleversoft: Sascha Wellershoff Appointed New CFO

The cleversoft group, the leading provider of cloud based RegTech services for financial service providers, has appointed Sascha  Wellershoff as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In his new role, Sascha  Wellershoff will strategically develop the finance division in order to consistently  pursue the cleversoft group’s international growth strategy and further drive the  integration of the latest company acquisitions. He succeeds Christoph Reitberger,  who has transformed the company from a start-up to a scale-up over the past six  years. After leaving the cleversoft Group, Christoph Reitberger will take on a new  professional challenge.

Sascha Wellershoff brings over 30 years of financial expertise to the table. The 56- year-old was most recently Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Asseco Solutions AG,  where he was responsible for the further development of the finance department  and played a key role in driving forward digitalization and efficiency  improvements. Prior to that, as sole director of Munich-based cyber security  specialist Virtual Solution, he was responsible for the growth strategy and the sale  to the Materna Group. His expertise covers finance and controlling, M&A,  compliance management, and investor relations in particular. 

Wellershoff holds degrees from Goethe University Frankfurt and various other  international professional qualifications in business administration. He took up his  position on November 1, 2025, at the headquarters in Munich and reports directly  to CEO Florian Clever.
