Standard Chartered has deepened its collaboration with Visa by integrating with Visa Direct to enhance cross-border, low-value global disbursements with greater speed, transparency, and cost efficiency.

The integration enables the Bank to route payments directly to beneficiary bank accounts through local low-value payment systems such as domestic ACH and instant payment rails. The service currently supports multiple currencies, with plans to expand further in the near future.

The expansion complements Standard Chartered’s broader cross-border Instant Payments future product roadmap.
