Three of the four nominations, including the
US FinTech Award and both of the
Banking Tech Awards, recognize Nymbus' groundbreaking work with PeoplesBank, which in June became the largest U.S. community bank to fully adopt a modern, cloud-native core banking platform. The conversion of the 135-year-old institution marked a defining moment for community banking, proving that mid-sized institutions can successfully execute enterprise-grade technology transformations.
The
Credit Union Times' Luminaries Award recognizes Nymbus' partnership with Michigan State University Federal Credit Union (MSUFCU) on Pillur, a digital-first credit union purpose-built to serve small and medium-sized businesses. The initiative represented a strategic breakthrough in core modernization. Rather than a traditional consolidation, Nymbus enabled MSUFCU to segment SMB customers from two newly acquired community banks – Algonquin State Bank and McHenry State Bank – onto Pillur's tailored platform designed specifically for business banking needs.
