European Referendum Vote for the Self-Employed Remains a Personal Choice

Research by Intuit QuickBooks shows:
- Majority of self-employed workers (72%) will put personal choice before their business in the EU Referendum this Thursday
- Only one in five (20%) self-employed workers plan to vote with their business or career in mind
- Self-employed vote is evenly split between remain (41.9%) and leave (41.3%)
- Clear majority would choose to remain self-employed if Britain leaves the EU (82%)
- Most believe it is more reliable to be self-employed than work for a full-time employer in times of economic uncertainty (57%)
