Asure Software is launching a co-selling initiative for its Enterprise Payroll Tax and Treasury solutions within the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Marketplace. For fintech leaders, this move signals a shift in how mission-critical tax infrastructure is distributed, leveraging cloud ecosystems to bypass traditional procurement hurdles and reach a massive, pre-vetted enterprise audience starting this September.

What was announced

Asure Software, Inc. (Nasdaq: ASUR) has integrated its Enterprise Payroll Tax and Treasury solutions into the AWS Marketplace, a digital catalog featuring thousands of software listings from independent vendors. This strategic move allows Asure to actively co-sell its specialized financial infrastructure to AWS’s base of 330,000 enterprise customers. The initiative targets large employers, payroll service providers, and HR platforms that require robust systems to manage the high-stakes compliance and financial flows inherent in payroll tax operations.

The Enterprise Payroll Tax and Treasury segment is already a cornerstone of Asure’s financial performance, currently accounting for nearly 20% of the company’s total revenues. By joining the AWS Marketplace, Asure aims to transform this business unit from a direct-sales model into a high-scale distribution play. The platform enables customers to discover, procure, and deploy Asure’s solutions using their existing AWS billing relationships, significantly reducing the friction typically associated with enterprise software acquisition.

To facilitate this transition, Asure is collaborating with Labra.io, an AWS Premier Tier Services Partner. Labra’s SmartGTM platform is being utilized to manage the technical and operational aspects of the Marketplace presence, including private offers, transaction management, and co-sell synchronization. This partnership is designed to minimize the internal engineering resources Asure needs to maintain its cloud go-to-market strategy while maximizing the visibility of its tax and treasury tools.

"Actively co-selling our Enterprise Payroll Tax and Treasury solutions into 330,000 AWS Marketplace enterprise customers dramatically expands who we can efficiently reach and serve. Tax already represents nearly 20% of Asure’s revenue. By combining Asure’s deep enterprise tax and treasury expertise serving some of the world’s greatest brands with the reach and procurement advantages of AWS Marketplace, we create an important new avenue for immediate and long-term growth. The compelling part of this opportunity is combining our fast-growing tax business with a fundamentally larger distribution channel — taking capabilities we’ve spent years developing and giving a much broader set of enterprise customers a faster, more economical way to access our Tax and Treasury solutions. We believe that can meaningfully accelerate the growth of this business."

What FF News has reported before

What this means

This is a aggressive land-grab by Asure. By moving into the AWS Marketplace, they are effectively turning their payroll tax engine into a "plug-and-play" utility for the enterprise. The payroll industry has historically been bogged down by long sales cycles and fragmented legacy systems; this move bypasses those hurdles by meeting enterprise buyers where they already spend their budget. For competitors, the pressure is now on to match this level of accessibility. Watch for whether Asure can convert this massive 330,000-customer reach into actual deployments, as the success of this move will depend on how well their complex tax logic integrates with the broader AWS partner ecosystem.
