ACI Worldwide Fintech Awards celebrate the company’s recent recognition by TIME and CNBC for 2025. As a global payments innovator, ACI Worldwide earned spots on TIME’s America’s Best Mid-Size Companies 2025 list and CNBC’s World’s Top Fintech Companies for its excellence in employee satisfaction, revenue growth, and ESG transparency.
These prestigious awards are presented in partnership with Statista Inc., the leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider that provides statistics, relevant business data, and various market and consumer studies and surveys. Statista publishes hundreds of worldwide industry rankings and company listings with high-profile media partners.
ACI appears on TIME’s America’s Best Mid-Size Companies list for the first time this year. Winners were identified based on three dimensions:
- Employee Satisfaction: Based on survey data from approximately 217,000 employees at U.S. companies over the past three years. The results reflect employee recommendations and evaluations across key areas such as company image, atmosphere, working conditions, salary, workplace environment and equality.
- Revenue Growth: Based on three years of data from the Statista revenue database. Companies with $100 million to $10 billion in revenue (as of 2023 or 2024) and consistent positive growth were evaluated using both relative and absolute metrics.
- Sustainability Transparency (ESG): Assessed using ESG data from the Statista database and targeted research across standardized KPIs. The environmental dimension included 2023 carbon emissions intensity, reduction since 2021 and CDP score. The social dimension covered the percentage of women on the board and the presence of a human rights policy. The governance dimension evaluated whether companies published a CSR report aligned with GRI standards and maintained anti-corruption or compliance guidelines.
- Collection of Publicly Available Data Points: In-depth research into relevant KPIs for more than 2,000 eligible companies was conducted using publicly available sources such as annual reports, company websites, and media monitoring.
- Open Online Application: More than 100 companies had the opportunity to be considered for the top list by submitting relevant KPIs which was announced and promoted via the CNBC website.
