The key ingredients for innovation
In this interesting conversation with Judi French, Director of the Ohio Dept. of Insurance, Doug Mackenzie asks what they’re doing to inspire innovation in the region.
Citing famous sons of Ohio, the Wright Brothers and Neil Armstrong, as examples of the state’s long history of innovators, French says they are continuing to pursue and champion innovation in industry.
She stresses that all innovation should come from a place of collaboration and have the goal of consumer protection. Behind this is a favourable tax climate and a skilled workforce, which JobsOhio is doing a great job of developing.
