Fintech Favourites: The Best Booths at the Festival

At Money20/20 USA 2025, the fast-fire “60 Seconds” question — Which booth would you choose to spend the whole event in? — revealed just how varied, personal, and entertaining attendees’ answers can be. What seemed like a simple question quickly became a window into the culture, personality, and humour of the fintech community.

One participant admitted a soft spot for sushi, immediately nominating J.P. Morgan’s booth as the top pick purely on culinary grounds. In a show filled with technology demos, AI showcases, and payments innovation, sometimes the way to a fintech professional’s heart is still through good food. Another attendee went full fandom mode, saying they spotted someone carrying a Blue Dragon plushie, sparking a mini quest to track down whichever stand was giving them out. Fintech may be serious business — but fintech people still love a good plush toy.

Others offered more speculative or playful answers. Someone wondered aloud whether Michael Saylor’s company had a stand, before pivoting to the cosy atmosphere of Money Pot, describing it as an unexpectedly comfortable corner of the festival floor. Another praised the significance of SIBOS-style booths before giving in to the more practical appeal of free chocolate and comfy chairs.

Across the show floor, food and entertainment clearly played a major role in attendee loyalty. One person highlighted the F1 race simulator at Oracle’s booth — a magnet for anyone with even a passing love of motorsport. Another leaned firmly into practicality, claiming their preferred booth would be anywhere with a couch long enough to nap on.

And finally, in classic fintech fashion, one interviewee chose the diplomatic route: their own booth — the Temenos stand — not just out of loyalty but because it offered water, chocolate, seating, and everything needed to survive a long conference day.

Fun, spirited, and surprisingly revealing, the “60 Seconds” segment captured what makes festivals like these special: innovation may power fintech, but the people — their quirks, their humour, their booth preferences — are what give it character.
