Merusha Naidu – Paymentology – Money 20/20 Europe

Out in Amsterdam for the Money 20/20 Europe event, FF News had a chat with Merusha Naidu, Global Head of Partnerships at Paymentology, to delve into the company’s core functions in-depth.

Paymentology is a leading fintech company that offers advanced payment processing solutions and services tailored to banks and financial institutions. Their expertise facilitates secure, seamless transactions and elevates the payment experience for customers.

“We’re a global neo processor, we operate across five regions: Europe, UK, Latin America, Middle East, Africa. Our core business is issuer processing. We work with fintechs, digital banks and traditional banks to create an innovative cloud native platform for any issuer. For us, it’s all about scalability, creating a really inclusive payment ecosystem that grows with our customers.”

“When it comes to working with traditional banks, it’s all about how to create a solution that is reliable, that you can de-risk, but at the same time, creates a lot of space for innovation. Some of the things we’ve included is, for example: We have our own tokenisation stack that’s all built in house. So when it comes to working with traditional banks, it’s all about servicing their existing customers and their legacy customers, and bringing innovation in without jeopardising the legacy business.”
