FF News caught up with Danilo Raponi, Group Head of Innovation at Generali, for a chat about how changes in payment innovation is allowing customers to have a more positive experience with Generali.
Generali is an insurance company that operates globally, providing a wide range of insurance products and services to individuals, families, and businesses. They offer protection against risks and financial security through their comprehensive insurance solutions and investment products.
“Insurance always remains a push business … but, what you can do is make the experience much better when they [a customer] do decide that it’s right [to purchase insurance].”
“We’re trying to embed into the payment process, for example, an automatic fraud detection system to ensure that money used is not being laundered, and at the same time, offer a great experience in the sense that the payment can be processed in all the possible ways that you prefer to do so, both when we receive money, and when we give money out.”
