Bitstamp’s Miha Vidmar Discusses Whether Traditional Institutions Still Need Education In Crypto

Miha Vidmar, Chief Product Officer at Bitstamp, joins FF News’ Douglas Mackenzie for a virtual discussion about the world of education in the crypto industry. In this video, Miha talks about the way that traditional institutions approach education in the cryptocurrency industry and whether or not it has remained a priority for them.

“I do think the traditional institutions need the education. Definitely. I mean, it’s getting better but there’s still a large gap in understanding what it is. Actually, the other side of that is exactly the government. So, until there’s guidance and regulation on different topics, it could be tax for example. How do you actually calculate profits? Can you hold [crypto] on your balance sheet? Until that’s completely clear, a lot of traditional players won’t actually enter the space.”
