Balázs Gáti – Are We Going To See Proactive Insurance?
We had a chat with Balázs Gáti, Global Head of Insurance at Revolut, to discuss whether insurance companies are going to become more proactive.
Revolut is a leading fintech company that offers a range of financial services, including banking, money transfers, and currency exchange. With its user-friendly mobile app and innovative features, Revolut aims to simplify and revolutionise the way people manage their finances, providing convenient and cost-effective solutions.
Proactive insurance is where insurance companies provide extra services such as alerts to their customers to remind them about certain risks, however if these services do not provide enough value to a customer, it may detriment the company’s relationship with a customer.
“At the end of the day, I think that the customers need to assess and understand the price of essential risk that they want insurance for. Any additional service that has a lower than expected value to the customer can actually break the trust.”
