NEXT Biometrics, a world leader in advanced, high-security fingerprint sensor technology, has supported its second customer implementation to achieve Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System (NIBSS) certification. NEXT’s engineers have collaborated with a new smart point of sale (POS) manufacturer customer to integrate its Basalt FAP 20 sensor solution for a top Nigerian bank. The devices will be used as part of the Bank Verification Number (BVN) project, which allows financial institutions to verify customer identities and secure transactions using their biometrics, helping to prevent fraud and meet Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements.

NEXT Biometrics, the world leader in advanced high-security fingerprint sensor technology, has secured its first mass production order for solutions that will be used in China ID products. The order, for NEXT Basalt FAP 20 sensors, is from an existing China-based OEM distributor and will be integrated into China ID products to support banking use cases.

NEXT Biometrics, a global leader in advanced high-security fingerprint sensor technology, has announced the first large-scale production order for its new FAP 30 ‘Granite’ sensor. NEXT will supply the sensors to an existing Indian OEM customer. The customer has signed an initial purchase order valued at NOK 3.2 million and initial delivery of the order is scheduled for Q4 2025.
