Russ Cohn & Bina Mirchandani of IDVerse on rebranding and rejection – FF Salon Podcast at Money20/20 Europe
During the Money 20/20 Europe event, held in Amsterdam at the RAI, Russ Cohn, General Manager EMEA at IDVerse, and Bina Mirchandani, Senior Director, Global Field Marketing at IDVerse, joined us in the FF Salon to provide insights into their respective roles within the company, additionally providing advice for people starting in new careers.

“At the moment, I’m running OCR Labs in Europe, in EMEA. We have just rebranded to IDVerse, so it’s a reflection of our broader offering and what we do. We do ID verifications and fraud detection, and we do that for banks, fintechs, governments, employment agencies and lots of different businesses across the world.”
“With covid, we’ve seen a lot of remote everything. People’s jobs, where they work, the way they bank and the way they shop. The need for IDVerse – OCR Lab’s solution to be able to verify your customers has grown. The team has grown by proxy, and now more than half the company is international.”
“You’ve just got to be resilient. Get up the next day, keep going and get out there again and just try again because you don’t know what your future is like and it’s up to you to build it. So, I’d say resilience is the key for anybody young. Don’t be offended by rejection. Rejection is a builder for the next positive thing that you’re doing in life.”
