As Area Manager I was involved in multiple aspects including sales analysis, performance management & implementation, business development, supply chain management & merchandising. Having spent 18 years of my career with a concession based within Debenhams, I witnessed the business grow significantly, with my area remit increasing from 8 to 17 stores, with an annual turnover of £3 million.
My experience encompassed the leadership of geographically dispersed teams which required me to motivate & empower individuals to achieve their own potential, and to make a significant contribution to the full delivery of common and cohesive goals.
I have been influential in improving organisational practices, performance, organisational development, service levels and profitability.
Confident and articulate, I have a natural aptitude for establishing and maintaining effective relationships with people at all levels, while possessing excellent influencing, collaboration and negotiation skills.
