About David Yates

David Yates, International CEO / Chairman with a track record of successfully leading commercial transformation and growth in global businesses. • Led the transformation of Vocalink from heavily-regulated not-for-profit “utility” to recognised international payments platform and subsequent trade sale to Mastercard Yates’ career in financial services spans over 40 years. He first joined IBM in 1983 and subsequently held several senior leadership roles at companies such as Western Union and First Data Corporation. After his stint at Mastercard, Yates has taken on numerous non-executive roles, currently serving as chairman of Nium and vice chairman at Equiniti, a London-headquartered outsourcing business. David Yates, based in London, GB, is currently a Non Executive Director at Nium. He brings experience from previous roles at Siris Capital Group, Enett, Mastercard and Vocalink. He holds a 1980 - 1983 Master of Arts in Law @ University of Oxford.
