Zeux becomes first fintech to launch in-app Amazon shopping feature in the UK

As the volume of online sales skyrocket, London-based company Zeux launches the UK’s first fintech ‘in-app’ Amazon shopping feature. Zeux customers will experience the convenience of a unique all-in-one money management app plus receive 2% cash-back on their in-app purchases.

According to data from ACI Worldwide, online retail sales jumped 74% in March. With increasingly warm weather, gardening products saw the highest spike, rising 163% compared to the previous year, followed by DIY essentials and furnishings. Electronics also saw a 26% boost with strong online gaming sales. The Zeux new e-commerce feature aims to respond to the market demand for online shopping and improve the convenience of money management.

In practice, the in-app Amazon shopping feature will offer:

  • Click ‘shopping’ – the Zeux app has a newly added feature which allows customers to shop on Amazon directly from the Zeux app.
  • All-in-one experience – payment functionality, zero added fee foreign exchange, investment and savings alternative options, crypto-wallet and in-app shopping in one smartphone experience.
  • Clear track of spending – having all money management in one place, customers will save time flitting between apps and have a clear track of their spending.
  • 2% cash-back – Zeux customers will save money by receiving a 2% cashback from their in-app Amazon purchases.

Global research, as well as our own data, have shown a spike in online shopping as customers look for ways to keep themselves busy and entertained during lockdown. Online shopping thrived prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, and this trend is only set to continue. Our long-term mantra is to offer the UK customer everything they need – when it comes to managing their finances – in one place. As a customer-centric and agile fintech company, we see an opportunity to respond to the current demand and also provide a future-proof service by offering a convenient shopping experience,’ says Frank Zhou, CEO and founder of Zeux. Currently in beta version, the e-commerce feature will be available to all Zeux verified customers through the Amazon affiliate programme.
