SOC 2 Type II Compliance Certification is an auditing procedure designed to ensure that service providers securely manage data to protect the privacy of their clients. “SOC” stands for system and organisation controls, and the certification is particularly relevant for technology and cloud computing companies that store customer information.
Hedva Ber, Deputy CEO and COO at eToro, said: “Our clients entrust us with their money and in return we commit to having the very best systems and processes in place to safeguard both those funds and their data. Developed by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), this certification verifies that eToro has implemented and maintained stringent controls and safeguards to protect client data, adhering to the highest standards in terms of data security, integrity, and confidentiality.
