SIBS Romania With a New Leadership: Hugo Araujo is the New Company’s CEO
Hugo Araújo is the new CEO of SIBS Romania (formerly Romcard and Supercard), one of the most important European companies in the payments sector. His goal is to consolidate SIBS Romania’s position as a preferred partner for payments and to simplify the daily life of users in Romania and the region, by offering innovative, safe, and reliable payment services.
Hugo Araújo has 20 years of experience in the payments market, and recently held the position of General Manager of SIBS International.

Under the new leadership, the company plans to continue developing the existing payment services portfolio, but also to invest in creating and implementing new digital solutions, based on SIBS ‘top capabilities and technologies, offering customized solutions for each partner, both from the banking and retail area.
