Shield FC to Allay Regulatory Concerns Surrounding Electronic Communications at the RegTech Summit for Capital Markets in London

Shield Financial Compliance (Shield FC), a specialist RegTech provider, will use a presentation at the RegTech Summit for Capital Markets in London to help Compliance Officers struggling with how to effectively manage electronic communications (eComms) in accordance with MiFID II, GDPR, MAR, Dodd Frank and FINRA regulation.

Silver Sponsor, Shield FC will also exhibit its financial compliance data management platform – Shield 2.0. From this single software platform Compliance Officers around the world are using it to capture and archive all electronic communications (eComms) channel and interrogate the data as part of their investigations.

CEO of Shield FC, Shiran Weitzman states: “There is much misinformation, misunderstanding and confusion amongst Compliance Officers of financial institutions, regarding exactly what is expected of them by the regulator when it comes to eComms.

Weitzman adds: “Today, many organisations focus on the capture of trade-related data but in doing so are falling short and consequently are putting the organisation at risk. At the RegTech Summit for Capital Markets we will explain how the eComms requirements stated within existing regulations, as well as impending laws such as EU ePrivacy, do not need to cause a compliance headache if managed in the right way.”

The RegTech Summit for Capital Markets is organised by the A-Team Group and will bring together practitioners managing regulatory change and implementing RegTech solutions. The one-day event takes place at the Guoman Tower Hotel, London on Thursday 4th October 2018.
