Revolut to roll out new advertising solutions to help brands connect with its growing customer base
Revolut, the global financial super app with more than 30 million customers worldwide, is continuing its ‘super app’ roll out with a new push into e-commerce and advertising as it opens up new ways for brands to advertise in its app.
Revolut is set to roll out the new advertising formats including widgets, banners and carousels, alongside sponsored search listings, in the coming months. The move to explore advertising solutions offers brands the opportunity to showcase their products to millions of Revolut users around the world, making it rewarding for customers to discover and shop with the brands they love.
While Revolut already allows brands and companies that it partners with the opportunity to purchase advertising space, it is exploring and developing new advertising solutions for brands as Revolut looks at more verticals to expand to, in a continued expansion of its ‘superapp’ drive.
The new advertising solutions come as Revolut appoints Inam Mahmood as Head of Global Lifestyle Solutions, the commercial arm of Lifestyle. In the new role, Inam will lead the launch of new advertising on Revolut and grow the e-commerce business focused on attracting new customer acquisition and engagement for rewards, shopping, and travel accommodation products on Revolut globally.
Inam brings extensive experience in sales, marketing, and business development, having previously worked at TikTok, as the first commercial hire in EMEA, helping to build and scale its monetisation growth across both advertising and ecommerce.
The addition comes as Revolut strengthens its suite of Lifestyle products, including cashback shopping features with Shops and Rewards, as well as its accommodation service, Stays, for which bookings increased by more than 130% in the UK, year on year.

The new advertising solutions will soon be released in the UK, to be followed by nine additional European markets: Ireland, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Sweden, Romania and Poland, in the coming months.
