Relation Insurance Services Acquires the Assets of Rabon Insurance Agency
Relation Insurance Services, one of the largest and fastest-growing national insurance agencies, announced today it acquired the assets of North Carolina-based Rabon Insurance Agency (“Rabon”). Rabon was previously part of Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company’s exclusive distribution model. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Rabon provides personal and commercial lines insurance solutions to clients throughout North Carolina and is headquartered in Monroe, NC. Rabon is a long-standing Nationwide exclusive agent that went independent and will join the Relation East division. Ashley Rabon will continue to lead Rabon under Relation.
“Ashley has built a strong operation and we are excited to have him and the entire Rabon team join Relation,” said Tim Hall, Executive Vice President and Head of Mergers and Acquisitions for Relation. “This addition further strengthens our already strong North Carolina footprint and provides the Rabon team new products and services to offer their clients.”
