Wise Platform Partners With Lunar, Marking Expansion Into the Nordics

Wise Platform, Wise’s global payment infrastructure for banks and global organisations, today announces its partnership with Lunar, one of the leading digital banks in the Nordics to bring fast, secure and transparent international payments to over one million users across the region. The partnership builds on a successful relationship, with Wise already leveraging Moonrise, Lunar’s modern banking infrastructure platform, for seamless local clearing and payments across Scandinavia. 

This next phase of the partnership brings Wise’s white-labelled solution to Lunar’s private and business users in Denmark, Sweden, and Norway, allowing them to send money abroad quickly, securely, in 40 currencies, within their app – in all at low cost. This experience is powered by Wise’s network that connects directly to 6 payment systems and 70+ licenses around the world, enabling 65% of transfers to arrive instantly – in 20 seconds or less*.  

With this partnership, Lunar becomes Wise Platform’s first partner in the Nordics and one of the region’s leading digital banks to offer this experience.
